Krka is Croatian National Park that got his name by River Krka which runs trough it. This area is famous for numerous lakes and waterfalls along the river Krka. The natural beauties here reach their highlight in amazing play of water and sun. It is situated in northern Dalmatia, only few kilometres from city Sibenik. Park includes 142 square kilometres of which 25,6 are water surfaces. River Krka has seven tuff waterfalls and best time to visit them is spring and summer when You can even swim in river. Hydro power plant below Skradinski buk waterfall is second oldest hydro powe plant in the world and oldest in Europe. It was built only three days after first world hydro power plant on niagara waterfalls. NP Krka is usually visited on one day excursions. Krka Falls are close to reach from Split then National Park Plitvice, but if You are interesting we also have one day excursions.

Our tour is starting from Split, in front of the Palace, or in front your hotel. We will leave Split early in the morning, enjoying a pleasant ride along the coastline passing by Trogir, Primosten and finaly Sibenik. City of Sibenik was historical site, founded more than a thousand years ago. The most important monument is the Gothic-Renaissance cathedral of St.Jacob, included in the UNESCO´s World Heritage list in 2001. After visting the town of Sibenik, our ride continues through the karst hinterland region of the Sibenik Riviera to the famous Krka Waterfalls. In a National Park, you will be walking on the wooden paths through enchanting moving water accompanied with the rare birds singing, while your guide is explaining all the details about the Park.

National Park Plitvice Lakes or often called Plitvice – Earth Falling lake is wooded area of central Dalmatia which makes 16 lakes connected with numerous cascades and waterfalls. Plitvice National Park is one of the most beautiful Croatian national parks, and the world. Plitvice occupying an area of 29,685 hectares, of which lakes make up 200 hectares. The rest of the national park consists of dense forests and grasslands. Plitvice Lakes National Park was included in UNESCO’s World Heritage list since 1979, among one of the first natural sites worldwide. Plitvice is visited more and more tourists every year.
